The environment is an important source of life for humans and other living creatures on this earth. The environment is also a precious heritage for all of us. Our lives depend on good environmental conditions. Not only that, the environment provides natural resources that are important for human survival. Forests give us oxygen and protect biodiversity. Rivers and lakes are important sources of water for human and animal life. Fertile soil is the basis of agriculture and food production. In addition, taking care of the environment also helps maintain the balance of the ecosystem. Every living thing in an ecosystem has an important role and interaction. If there is a disturbance in the ecosystem, such as water pollution or uncontrolled deforestation, the negative effects will be felt by all living things. Thus, it is important to be aware of our need to take care of the environment in order to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. However, as a result of human error and negligence, the environment is now experiencing problems such as water, air, and soil pollution, as well as deforestation and species extinction. The effects of the negligent human pursuit of wealth without thinking about the consequences for the environment have caused accidents or disasters to occur that threaten human life.

One of the proactive measures is to launch an environmental awareness campaign. Campaigns like this have already been recognized as ideologies that bring out the importance and responsibility of the global community to respect, preserve and protect the surrounding nature from its anthropogenic suffering. The effectiveness of this awareness requires a comprehensive understanding of the extent to which the state of nature is fragile, so it is necessary to take care of it optimally. Although environmental awareness may seem like a complex task, its main objective is actually a simple way to be a guardian of the environment, which in this case facilitates the creation of a brighter future for future generations. Therefore, environmental awareness should be made an important part of daily activities, as it will help significantly in the process of making the global community aware of things that are dangerous and toxic to nature.

The environmental awareness campaign is an initiative that will lead to the sustainability of cleanliness and a healthy environment from different entities including organizations and individuals. However, for this to be effective one needs to have a thorough knowledge of the environment and the factors that can damage and disrupt the natural ecosystem.

Firstly, the environmental awareness campaign is that we must recycle used materials. Recycling means collecting and treating used objects and materials that are ready to be thrown away to produce materials that can be reused. Examples of recyclable items are plastic, bottles, and glass. The Malaysian Waste Management Association states that recycling should be done in three separate bins which are orange for plastic and metal, brown for glass, and blue for paper. There are many reasons why this environmental awareness campaign is important because through recycling we can help lessen carbon footprint, but it also conserves energy, lessens greenhouse gas emissions, stops pollution, and lessens the need to extract raw materials. Improved recycling techniques can help us preserve a clean environment and safeguard our natural resources.

Secondly, the usage of renewable energy likes solar energy, wind energy, hydroelectric energy and biomass energy. The usage of renewable energy can control the ecosystem because the usage is environmentally friendly. Malaysia that received sunlight all the times can be an advantage for usage of solar energy in the residence. This can reduce the electricity that being generated by charcoal. So that, it is important for government to implement and give the incentive to realize the savings policy of energy for the environment.

Plastic materials especially plastic bags and bottles used in the daily life of the community that will cause problems in terms of disposal and will cause pollution. Suggestions that can be made by the government need to issue production limits that are limited to factories that produce plastic-based goods. Food sellers also need to always use paper bags to wrap food. This can reduce the use of plastic bags for each food to sell. programs such as "Day Without Plastic Bags" every buyer has to prepare their own paper bag to put the sale items or have to pay a certain amount of money to get a plastic bag. We can see, the plastic bags used in sales can be reduced and can be one of the solutions to the problem. The community needs to be concerned by cooperating in realizing the efforts given by reducing the disposal of plastic bags and then the disposal process becomes easy.

In conclusion, preserving our environment is paramount for sustaining life. The call for an environmental awareness campaign is vital, recognizing it as a simple yet powerful tool to be guardians of our planet, ensuring a brighter future. Recycling, embracing renewable energy, and reducing plastic usage are actionable steps for a cleaner, healthier world. It demands comprehensive knowledge and collaborative efforts, urging governments, organizations, and individuals to champion sustainability, safeguarding our precious environment for generations to come.
